'This or That' book tag

Before I start (as promised in the previous post) I thought I'd post a picture of my reading journal.

I think it's a really cool way to note which books your reading. Now to the main post...

I've wanted to do a book tag for a while and I came across this one and thought it seemed cool. Hope you enjoy it!

Series or Standalone?
Series, If I enjoy a book I want to get as much of it as possible so standalones don't usually do it for me.

Magic-born or Magic-earned?
I'm not a massive fantasy fan but when I do read fantasy, I'd rather read magic-born.

Enemies-to-lovers or Friends-to-lovers?
Friends-to-lovers all the way!!! It's underrated compared to Enemies-to-lovers in my opinion.

Hilarious banter or Emotional ruin?
Both??? I like my books to be heartbreaking and hilarious at the same time.

Love triangle or Intsta-love?
Neither!!!! These are my least favourite tropes, can't stand either of them and they are so overused.

Keyboard smash names or all names start with the same letter?
Key-board smash names, they are way more interesting. Also, I think i'd get confused if all the names started with the same letter.

Mean parents or dead parents?
Dead parents all the way!!!
Supermodel looks or constantly says how ‘plain’ they are?
Supermodel looks, if you know your attractive you can use that to your advantage and I like that in a character.
Face on cover vs. typography on cover?
Typography. I've never seen a cover with a face on that I've liked.
Villain turning a little good or hero turning a little bad?
Villain turning a little good because it gives them a better character arc.
Best friend dies or love interest dies?
Love interest dies! I love a bit of drama.
Awesome writing with dull plot or amazing plot with murderously bad writing?
Amazing plot with murderously bad writing. I've read several books like this and even though they have horrendous writing, I've still liked them.
Cliffhanger ending or heart-breaking ending?
Heartbreaking endings. Cliff-hangers have always annoyed me, just write an actual freaking ending.
Breaking the spine or dog-earing the pages?
This probably makes me a terrible bookworm but I do both all the time. I love my books to seem like they've actually been read rather than their some sort of decoration for my bedroom.
Bad boy trope or perfect golden boy trope as love interest?
Perfect golden boy. I'm not sure why, its just cuter.
That's it. Hope you enjoyed reading my choices for the 'This or That' book tag.
